For no apparent reason, Mad Dog just listed his top five favorite movies. Kind of a hodge podge, but I'm a little surprized that there's a movie on his list that came out in the past 20 years..

ReplyDeleteRandom...KBilly I'm going to Montreal in late May for a week. I know you've been there so I need some places to go/tips/advice/etc.
In Montreal, for food, sightseeing and culture the City Hall area is the best. Get some Mussels and Frites, or a smoked meat sandwich before you get drunk.
ReplyDeleteFor nightlife, Rue de St. Catherine. Get a toasty and poutine when you are blind drunk.
DEFINATELY save some money for the Duty Free shop at the border on your way back. You can get tax free booze, cigs and (most profitable) Cuban Cigars on the cheap.
You could flip a $10 case of 12% Molson XXX beer for $40 in your dorm. Find a local cigar shop and see what they'll pay for a box of Havana Cohibas or Monte Cristos.
And you can always unload a couple cartons of discount cigs on a college campus.
Sounds good. Unfortunately I'm going up there with the school so I'm not sure how much freedom I'll have at night, but I'll look out for those things. Def want some cubans.
